EU 10/2011 Compliant Adhesive for Food Contact

PERMABOND® ET5162 is an EU 10/2011 compliant adhesive. It was formulated to comply with EU food contact regulations 10/2011.

It is a two-part, room temperature curing epoxy adhesive, which combines high performance with fast cure and higher temperature resistance than standard two-part epoxies. ET5162 is suitable for bonding a wide variety of materials, including stainless steel, aluminium, composite materials, certain plastics, and ceramic surfaces. The adhesive has a pot-life of around one hour and offers the convenience of room temperature cure. Faster cure is possible by heating.

As this product is compliant with food contact regulations, it is ideal for catering equipment applications, such as:

• Food and beverage manufacturing equipment and machinery
• Kitchen fittings
• Coffee machines, drink, ice cream, and smoothie dispensers
• Sieves, strainers, and filters
• Utensils and white goods

Note, in addition, the dual cartridges with static mixing nozzles make application very easy. Bulk is available for use with automated dispensing systems.

Available are 10 x 50ml cartridges, 6 x 400ml cartridges, 5kg, and 20kg bulk packaging. Shelf life is 12 months 5-25°C.
