Permabond Engineering Adhesives will exhibit in booth 409 at the AeroDef® Manufacturing Summit and Exposition produced by SME. The event is February 25-27, 2014 at the Long Beach Convention Center in California.
Permabond will showcase industry trusted and specified adhesives, including the original Permabond 910 and Permabond 102. The new harness clip kit TA4246 with Initiator 46 will also be featured. Permabond Engineering Adhesives’ TA4246 and Initiator 46 Kit is used extensively to attach harness clips within aircraft. The smaller package includes an additional tip cap yet holds the same quantity of adhesive and initiator – improving the ease of on-site application.
Permabond TA4246 is a surface activated (no-mix) acrylic that cures at ambient temperature. It is ideal for use on a wide variety of substrate materials and forms very high strength structural bonds with excellent environmental durability and chemical resistance. These features, combined with its very high peel strength and impact resistance, provide engineers with a lightweight durable replacement for welds and rivets.
