This two-component hybrid system cures fully at room temperature to form a flexible, thermally conductive material capable of bonding a wide variety of different substrate materials.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-typical-applications\">Typical Applications for MT3836 Thermally Conductive Adhesive<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p id=\"h-this-product-contains-a-thermally-conductive-adhesive-filler-which-helps-conduct-heat-away-from-components-and-is-suitable-for-use-with-electronics-e-g-bonding-heat-sinks-it-is-also-a-popular-choice-for-bonding-electric-vehicle-battery-modules-not-only-does-it-help-with-thermal-management-but-it-is-also-fire-retardant-to-ul94-v-0-it-is-flexible-and-compressible-so-helps-minimise-stress-on-sensitive-components-especially-if-there-are-differential-thermal-expansion-and-contraction-forces-impacting-joints-the-cured-material-helps-absorb-impact-and-vibration-forces-and-is-non-conductive-for-electricity\">This product contains a thermally conductive adhesive filler which helps conduct heat away from components and is suitable for use with electronics (e.g. bonding heat sinks). It is also a popular choice for bonding electric vehicle battery modules \u2013 not only does it help with thermal management, but it is also fire retardant to UL94 V-0.\u00a0 It is flexible and compressible, so helps minimize stress on sensitive components, especially if differential thermal expansion and contraction forces impact joints.\u00a0 The cured material helps absorb impact and vibration forces and is non-conductive for electricity.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>This product can also be considered for bonding building cladding materials, providing a fire-retardant layer between cladding panels and profile sections. Its peel, impact, and vibration resistance help the panel flex and maintain position in high winds. The cured adhesive is intumescent. Its flexibility makes it more suitable than rigid epoxies for bonding Zintec surfaces (with the spangly-effect surface, often seen for air conditioning ducting etc).\u00a0 It is also better at bonding difficult surfaces compared to standard epoxy adhesives. Its flexibility and impact resistance make the adhesive much less likely to fracture off.\u00a0 Permabond MT3836 is suitable for use on a wide variety of composite materials such as GRP, FRP, Carbon
