They are FDA Compliant Adhesives because they are formulated to FDA CFR 175.105.\u00a0 These epoxy adhesives offer excellent resistance to water, food, cleaning fluids, and heat.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-why-epoxy-adhesives\">Why Epoxy Adhesives?<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/permabond.com\/products\/epoxies-two-part-epoxy-adhesives\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Two component epoxy<\/a> food grade adhesives are ideal for bonding food processing equipment for many reasons, including performance, processability, and compliance.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>Performance \u2013 High strength bonds<\/li>\r\n<li>Process \u2013 The cure speed allows adequate time for alignment of large or bulky equipment.\u00a0 To cure more quickly, apply heat.<\/li>\r\n<li>Compliance \u2013 These epoxy adhesives are formulated with only those raw materials listed in the CFR as food safe.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-why-are-there-no-fda-compliant-cyanoacrylates\">Why are there no FDA Compliant Cyanoacrylate Adhesives?<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Many people ask us for other types of food grade adhesives such as <a href=\"https:\/\/permabond.com\/products\/uv-glue-uv-adhesive\/\">UV curable<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/permabond.com\/acrylic-adhesive\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cyanoacrylate<\/a> adhesives that comply with FDA CFR 175.105 for food contact.
