A quality computer should be able to stand on its own four rubber feet!<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

While shopping for a new laptop I was reviewing the features and benefits of several machines.\u00a0 Each machine had a card next to it with a long list of components such as; the brand and type of processor, video card, memory, etc…\u00a0 To get a better look, I lifted a laptop from the store shelf.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

One of the little rubber feet from the laptop remained on the shelf!<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

That got me thinking, where else on a laptop are adhesives used, and what types of adhesive chemistry are used on the different applications?<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Types of Adhesives for Laptop Manufacture<\/h2>\r\n

There are many adhesive applications within PCs and laptops \u2013 mainly for bonding electric components.\u00a0 Acrylics<\/a>, Epoxies<\/a>, UV Curables<\/a>, Cyanoacrylates<\/a> and Hybrid Adhesives are all used in laptop assembly.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
