Additionally, this fast-setting cyanoacrylate bonds metals, rubbers, plastics, and more. In fact, Permabond 825 resists up to 392\u00b0F (200\u00b0C) and has excellent retention of strength during thermal aging. <strong>PATENTED TECHNOLOGY<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3 align=\"left\"><strong><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-7431 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/permabond.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/CA008250001Z0101-132x300.png\" alt=\"high temperature resistant cyanoacrylate\" width=\"132\" height=\"300\" \/>Features and Benefits<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong bonds that resist up to 392\u00b0F (200\u00b0C)<\/li>\n<li>No secondary or post-cure required to achieve temperature resistance<\/li>\n<li>Low viscosity 120 cPs\/mPa.s<\/li>\n<li>Tolerates stresses at high temperature<\/li>\n<li>Does not require zero-gap &#8211; better thermal stability with a larger gap<\/li>\n<li>Higher strength retention after thermal aging<\/li>\n<li>2500 psi (17 MPa) bonds to mild steel at 77\u00b0F (25\u00b0C)<\/li>\n<li>600 psi (4MPa) bonds to mild steel at\u00a0 300\u00b0F (150\u00b0C)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Typical ethyl cyanoacrylates resist up to 180\u00b0F (82\u00b0C) with special grades resisting as high as 250\u00b0F (120\u00b0C). Generally, methyl cyanoacrylates resist 195\u00b0F (90\u00b0C).\u00a0 Specialty allyl cyanoacrylates can resist up to 482\u00b0F (250\u00b0C). However, these require a post-cure or secondary heat cure to achieve the temperature resistance.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"page3R_mcid22\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Cyanoacrylate adhesives are single component adhesives<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">that polymerize rapidly when pressed<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">into a thin film<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">between parts. The moisture adsorbed on the surface<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">initiates the curing of the adhesive.
