{"id":2909,"date":"2018-08-15T12:50:12","date_gmt":"2018-08-15T12:50:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/permabond.com\/flexible-glue\/"},"modified":"2023-07-18T14:10:41","modified_gmt":"2023-07-18T14:10:41","slug":"flexible-glue","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/permabond.com\/de\/flexible-glue\/","title":{"rendered":"Flexible Glue | Flexible Adhesive"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Permabond has flexible adhesives in a variety of chemistries.\u00a0 Following is a review of the good the bad and the ugly about each.<\/p>\n<p>Flexible Glue #1 MS Polymer<\/p>\n<p>MS Polymers are a hybrid technology with Shore Hardness as low as A40 and elongation as high as 350%.\u00a0 They are available in non-sag, self-leveling, and non-sag clear grades.\u00a0 MS Polymers are paintable, non-corrosive, have a fast tack free time, and bond a variety of substrates with no primer needed.\u00a0\u00a0 They are extremely weather resistant and do not crack or split.\u00a0 And although the skin over in under 20 minutes, full cure of 3-5 mm takes 24 hours.<\/p>\n<p>Flexible Glue #2 Modified Epoxy adhesives also known as Flexible Epoxy adhesives are available with Shore Hardness as low as A55 and elongation as high as 200%.\u00a0 They are also paintable, non-corrosive, weather resistant, and bond a variety of substrates with no primer needed.\u00a0 On paper, they appear to take longer to cure (about 72 hours.)
