Permabond Encapsulation 10 Sealant is the result of feedback from the gas utility market. Users in the field told us the improvements that they wanted and Permabond chemists advanced the technology of urethanes to fit the needs of gas pipeline restoration.
This NEW low odor formula contains no TDI. No primer is required and the set time is minimal, allowing a shorter wait to backfill.
The Permabond system, comprised of Encapsulation 10, with our proprietary bags made of durable Cordura® fabric, has been tested for pressure, adhesion and corrosion resistance, on both cast iron and steel, by Gas Technology Institute.
Combined with small hole coring processes, Permabond's Encapsulation 10 system directly and immediately reduces the costs of repairing joint leaks in cast iron bell and spigot joints or steel fittings.

Permabond Gaseal is designed for use with regular excavation and with cored hole processes. Products are available in a variety of grades for use in a variety of temperatures and joint types.

Pipeline Restoration Products

Gaseal® Anaerobic Sealants are available in 1L, 2L and 3L grades and are compatible with regular excavation, small hole, and core hole technology.
Corrosion Protection
Anode protection pads and corrosion application sleeves are designed for use with the corrosion protection grease of your choice and neither will dislodge during the back filling operation.
Utility Grade Sealants and Threadlockers
For Meter installation and repair and pipe sealing, use LH050 For Sealing pinholes that occur with welded repair, use HL126 Permabond offers a complete line of threadlockers that provide corrosion resistance on all metal threaded fasteners. Contact us for a product recommendation.
